Overview

This unit introduces structural and environmental performance as it relates to architectural design and construction. Applied physical and digital testing will be used to understand and assess the application of building systems and materials to architecture. A range of environmental and structural behaviours will be addressed in response to life-cycle optimisation and resource efficiencies as well as being located with their historical and conceptual contexts.
