In this unit, you will extend your exploration of concepts in popular music practice by creating a performance showcase with accompanying promotional material, and undertaking collaborative projects in which you will apply music production and ensemble practice. You will continue to use audio-visual recordings to develop your self-reflective skills and formulate future performance goals.

Learning outcomes
- apply enhanced technical efficiency on primary instrument/voice to create and present a live showcase performance;
- conceptualise an artistic brand and identity and create set of promotional materials;
- utilise professional leadership competencies to arrange, rehearse and perform an ensemble in a rehearsal environment.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. A unit requires on average three/four hours of scheduled activities per week. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
