Overview

In this unit, you will progress to the second phase of your research thesis focusing on executing the research outlined in your proposal from Thesis Part 1. You will collect data, perform experiments or engage in simulations per your research design, ensuring rigorous and ethical research practices. As you gather results, you will engage in critical analysis, interpretation and evaluation of the data to address your research question or hypothesis. In addition to conducting your research, you will begin drafting your thesis. This involves writing key sections such as the methodology, results, discussion and conclusions, while continuously integrating feedback from your supervisor. The culmination of this unit will be the submission of your complete research thesis, which will demonstrate your ability to contribute original knowledge to your field of specialisation.
