This unit develops your ability to create a blueprint that defines the IT structure and operation of business, maps the IT to the business processes, identifies gaps and potential innovations, and measures process improvements.

Learning outcomes

1. Discuss the importance of aligning business processes with IT infrastructure
2. Demonstrate skills in employing tools and techniques to map the IT to the business processes
3. Undertake a critical analysis of the enterprise architecture for process redesign
4. Measure process improvements for organisation and its business ecosystems

Workload

Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled online and face to face learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated reading and preparation for scheduled teaching activities.
