This is the second part of your Fine Art Studio, Curating or Art History research project. Following on from FNA4001, it provides an opportunity to extend and complete your research, working towards a resolved project presented at the annual graduate exhibition (Fine Art Studio and Curating) or submitted as a thesis (Art History). You will participate in regular consultations with your mentor, and receive peer and staff feedback via group critique and individual tutorials.

Learning outcomes
- Apply a cogent language for your practice that is defined by appropriate material and conceptual frameworks within contemporary artistic production and discourse;
- Extend the application and critical evaluation of methodologies, whether studio-based or scholarly, to foster sustained independent practice research practice;
- Apply research methodology to conduct advanced studio based, curatorial, or scholarly research in your chosen field;
- Apply advanced interpretations and discourse to critically position outcomes within your chosen field;
- Demonstrate an advanced level of discipline specific approaches and understanding.
