In this unit you will study and critically assess high-impact precedents and emerging issues that have shaped, and are shaping, competition laws and commercial practices around the world. This global and comparative perspective will be particularly helpful in framing the development of laws and practices in the ASEAN context, where competition laws are still new or developing. This unit caters both to future business leaders, who need to understand where the legal boundaries are in commerce, and to future law practitioners interested in this field and wishing to make an immediate impact upon graduation, whether in a law firm or as part of an in-house legal team.
