This unit explores the interactions between law and history. In this unit you will explore approaches to the study of law and history, and be asked to think critically about the law’s impact on history and history’s impact on law.

Learning outcomes

1. Apply advanced knowledge and demonstrated understanding of issues and topics in law and history.
2. Critically analyse and persuasively evaluate key concepts in law and history, contextualised within a broad range of practice, policy and theoretical perspectives.
3. Undertake research in order to analyse and synthesise complex information in response to complex issues relating to law and history.
4. Demonstrate engaging, detailed, and persuasive communication across a range of topics in law and history.
