Overview

MAP5010 is designed to allow you to implement the research proposal developed in the prerequisite unit (MAP5000 - Research in Advanced Health Care Practice). You will develop skills in gathering data, interrogating it using acceptable analytical processes, and developing an informed and defensible conclusion. Through an iterative and collaborative intellectual process with your supervisor, you will create either a written research report or a ready-for-submission journal article. The work will be also be presented orally to an academic and professional audience. Successful completion of MAP5000 and MAP5010 with an overall grade of 70 Distinction or above may permit a student to apply for a graduate research program including the PhD at Monash University.
