This unit will introduce you to the foundational professional skills essential for nursing practice. You will examine nursing from a socio-political framework and will be introduced to professional standards and ethical codes that underpin nursing practice. You will explore legal and ethical theories and principles that relate to nursing practice in the Australian healthcare context.
