Overview

In this unit, you will continue to build upon your existing knowledge and skills to further develop the competencies required for safe and effective independent practice as a physiotherapist. You will be encouraged to critically reflect on your clinical experiences to date in the Doctor of Physiotherapy program, identifying areas of strength and opportunities for further development. This reflective process will support the integration of theoretical knowledge with real-world clinical practice. Learning will be supported through self-directed modules focusing on key areas of contemporary physiotherapy practice, including pain management, task delegation, and telehealth. These modules will enable you to deepen your understanding of evidence-based approaches, scope of practice, and models of care, while also developing skills in delivering care across diverse settings and formats.
