Overview

This unit will provide you with comprehensive training in abdominal ultrasound, covering sonographic scanning methods and evidence-based protocols for abdominal and retroperitoneal organs and related vascular structures. You will develop advanced skills in image acquisition and interpretation, including recognition of normal anatomy, anatomical variants, and pathological findings, while adapting scanning approaches to suit the clinical question and patient presentation.
