In this unit, you will develop command of the foundational music performance skills introduced in ATS1044 through the preparation and presentation of performance materials that build on those studied in ATS1044.

Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate command of foundational level of instrumental/vocal technique, including control of rhythm, articulation, accuracy, timbre, dynamics and intonation (where applicable;
- Prepare and present performance materials such as technical requirements, studies, solo repertoire and/or collaborative repertoire that exhibits skills developed in ATS1044
- Demonstrate command of a foundational level of musicianship and/or creativity, including appropriate artistic expression, improvisation and/or technology as appropriate;
- Demonstrate performance practice/s relevant to your artform.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Scheduled activities may include a combination of teacher directed learning, peer directed learning and online engagement.
