In this unit you will undertake Chinese language training in a business and commerce context. You will explore a specialised business text style by using the language features of business texts and practice writing and translating related texts. You will develop your bilingual language proficiency thus broadening your career opportunities.

Learning outcomes
- identify the basic linguistic features of Chinese and English business text through discourse analysis;
- to acquire basic Chinese business writing skills;
- translate business texts using basic translation skills;
- communicate effectively and appropriately in bilingual business situations.
