This unit advances your knowledge gained in preceding studio units and places a strong emphasis on digital experience design. Particular importance is placed on the role of motion graphics and storytelling in multimedia design, including the skills and techniques to use these elements across a range of media platforms. You will undertake project work that explores a wide range of design processes, technical skills and conceptual models involved with the production of digital media. Your specialist skills and folio preparation will also be covered.

Learning outcomes
- Demonstrate knowledge of key multimedia design principles, including motion graphics and storytelling, to projects across diverse digital media platforms;
- Apply problem-solving methodologies and technical skills to create multimedia design prototypes that address complex design challenges;
- Integrate storytelling, motion graphics, and digital technologies to create cohesive multimedia experiences across platforms;
- Reflect on your professional identity and collaborate with others to develop ethical, inclusive, and innovative design solutions;
- Describe and analyse social, cultural, and ethical issues in multimedia design, fostering a commitment to responsible and inclusive design practices;
- Develop self-directed learning strategies through research, experimentation, and reflection, adapting to emerging technologies and design trends.
