Structure
The course requires the completion of 204 credit points structured into five parts: Part A. Core studies, Part B. Education studies, Part C. Curriculum studies, Part D. Discipline studies and Part E. Professional experience and any special course requirements. Note: Students are also required to complete the Supporting studies.

You must complete 30 credit points, comprising: - the following four units (24 credit points); and - one elective unit (6 credit points).
You must complete 36 credit points, comprising: - the following two units (12 credit points); and - the Secondary method studies (24 credit points).
You will undertake your discipline studies as part of the partner degree. You should consult your Education Success Adviser (ESA) regarding your choice of majors and minors within the partner degree course to ensure you are fulfilling the requirements of the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). Refer to the secondary specialist/discipline areas prerequisites and units list.
You must complete the following units. Note: You must complete 80 days of supervised professional experience in secondary schools.
