This unit introduces you to the understandings of people and its different level of analysis towards change. It explores the world of work from the organisational behaviour and change perspective. The unit introduces key concepts and theories of organizational behaviour and organisational change to enhance the employee, team and organisational outcomes. Topics covered include perception and learning, attitude, personality, motivation, stress, teamwork, power and influence, organisational culture, leadership and change, and organisational transformation and change.

Learning outcomes
- analyse organisational behaviour and change concepts and theories at the individual, team, and organisational levels
- evaluate organisational behaviour and change concepts and theories in order to generate creative solutions for achieving desired work outcomes
- demonstrate presentation skills in applying organisational behaviour and change concepts and theories in diverse industries and workforces
- demonstrate teamwork skills by learning in a collaborative learning environment by applying organisational behaviour concepts and theories.
Workload
Minimum total expected workload to achieve the learning outcomes for this unit is 144 hours per semester typically comprising a mixture of scheduled learning activities and independent study. Independent study may include associated readings, assessment and preparation for scheduled activities. You are expected to complete all pre-class activities prior to your scheduled class, and post-class activities should be completed after your scheduled class. Learning activities may include a combination of teacher directed, peer directed and online engagement activities.
