Overview

This unit runs in your final semester of the Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing - Nurse Practitioner. There are several mandatory assessments required by The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council (ANMAC) in the Master of Advanced Clinical Nursing - Nurse Practitioner. This unit draws together academic work with workplace activities and is the repository for the workplace assessments. In the workplace, students will have both a clinical mentor, and a professional mentor, who meet regularly with you, set learning objectives and provide feedback.

  5. Plan, deliver and evaluate health programs and services.
  6. Analyse ethical, legal and political aspects of the Nurse Practitioner role.
  7. Develop advanced skills in medication management, health assessment, and diagnosis.
  8. Demonstrate achievement of the NMBA: Nurse Practitioner Standards for Practice.
