This international double master's program enables you to complete the requirements of the Monash Master of Public Policy as well as a second degree with O.P Jindal Global University (JGU). You will study at Monash University in Australia and at the partner university. On successful completion of the academic program at Monash and the academic program at the partner university, students will be eligible to graduate with the degrees from both institutions, awarded separately. This comprehensive degree builds practical knowledge and essential skills for international careers in policy making and management across the spectrum of public sector activities. The multi-disciplinary program develops understanding of the processes of policy formation, the delivery of policy programs, and the political and structural realities that can impact on decision-making. The course combines a focus on foundation knowledge and understanding of critical issues in public policy, governance, and policy analysis and evaluation with the choice of a broad range of policy specialisations including: Criminology, Cultural and creative industries, Diplomacy and international trade, Family violence prevention, Global Migration, Health and social policy, Organisational leadership, Public finance, Regulatory policy, Sustainability and the environment, Transport and Urban policy. Participants are equipped for careers in public, not-for-profit and private organisations engaged in policy development and program delivery at all levels of government and between governments.
Structure
You must complete the following units. Note 1: JGU students complete 24 credit points which include; APG103, APG104, APG129 and APG5195 Note 2: Monash students commencing semester 2 replace APG5129 with an additional elective from Part D. Elective studies.
You must complete 12 credit points from the following capstone units. Note 1. Monash students are not required to complete this section as equivalent units are studied at JGU. Note 2. APG5084 Designing research is a pre-requisite for APG5856.
You must complete 6 credit points from the following units. Note: If you intend to enrol in APG5856 in Part B, you must complete APG5084 as a prerequisite.

You must complete 6 credit points of elective units. Note 1. Elective units must be completed at Level 5. Note 2: if you are a Monash student commencing in semester 2 you complete 12 credit points of elective units.
